Contemporary Worship: Sunday at 9:00 AM in Ensign Chapel

Our contemporary worship service is less formal, more intimate; our music is a blend of contemporary spiritual music and traditional hymns. 45 minutes.

This Fourth Sunday in Lent, Geoff will be preaching in the Early Service on “The Greatest Story Jesus Told” from Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32.  We will sing selected Praise Songs in the Early Service.  We will have our One Great Hour of Sharing promotion, “The Heart You Need,” and Easter flower sign ups will be included in the bulletins.

Traditional Worship: Sunday at 10:15 AM in the Sanctuary

Traditional worship is a more formal service in our larger Sanctuary. The Chancel Choir provides some music and traditional hymns are sung.

This Fourth Sunday in Lent, in the 10:15 service Geoff will give a meditation on “Singing is Praying Twice” to accompany our annual Lenten Cantata service.  The Chancel Choir and guests, Dr. Spencer and an orchestra will present “Every Thought and Word” by Dietrich Buxtehude and service music from Handel and Schutz.  We will sing the hymns “God of Compassion, in Mercy Befriend Us” and “When We Are Tempted to Deny Your Son”.  We will have our One Great Hour of Sharing promotion, “The Heart You Need,” and Easter flower sign ups will be included in the bulletins.
