What our members like about us.

In a survey that was part of our Stewardship campaign this last Fall, our members were asked what they liked about our church, here is how they responded.

1.  There is a program for every age in the church and the community. Keeping up with the needs of the community.

 2. This is my Church Family in every sense and word.  Presbyterian means to me love, fellowship and Education and we do all these things in this church.

 3. I'm very thankful and grateful for the opportunity to serve the church with my music in the first service and for the young people who have worked with me in the past.

 4. Pastoral leadership- case teaching, preaching, guidance for a deep prayer life.

5. Mission work (NS care for other less fortunate, ESL, HWH).

6. Music- traditional and contemporary/ 2 styles of worship

7. Caring Church Family- prayer, support.  People- great told models in faith.   Nourishes personal faith growth.  Nueva Vida with us and in God's Kingdom

 8. Beautiful Organ Music; Enthusiastic Minister; Good Choir; Community Outreach; Worship full service; Strong message

9. Beautiful Sanctuary; Old Friends; Our present outreach.

 10. Geoff's sermons, my spirits are always lifted; friendly people; Homework House; and many more!

 11. I like the friendliness and concern of one another- I especially enjoy the choir- I believe Geoff is a concerned pastor to his "flock". I stay with the church because it feels like home

 12. The architecture/design of the sanctuary The exceptionally talented musical director, variety of music, choir; Loyal, flexible, tenacious compassionate congregation.  A Minster who is a scholarly, devout, insightful interpreter and leader;  Relationship to Nueva Vida and the community

 13. I love the people I feel so at home and so welcome.  And our church is so beautiful. Our windows are beautiful and Geoff has used them now and again in his sermons.

14. I appreciate the individuals in the Church who reach out to others and show they care.

 15. The friendliness and kindness of the church members.  The love and support the church family offers is a very comforting measure.

 16. A great preacher and teacher and caring pastor A sound and well interpreted theology.  Although small, a caring fellowship and willing to accept reasonable change.

17. Williametta's talent as organist and director of the choir. My church is like a family away from home. Our benevolence toward homeless, women's gathering projects

 18. Strong leadership; Sense of family; Early service; Willing commitment to many programs in church.

 19. Our wonderful organ and organist. The fine upkeep of our buildings/ The great facilities here and opportunity to share them with the community.  The dedicated choir. My friends The beautiful organ music played by Dr. Spencer. The choral music of the choir.  Our church family. The love and prayers that were shown at the loss of my husband meant so much to me. I like the minister; I like his sermons and prayers. I like being part of the prayer group, teaching the adult class, singing in the choir, the Navigators and women's gathering.  WPC is very important to me.

 20. I am grateful for the people who come to church on Sunday morning and who have accepted me into their midst.  I'm truly grateful for the feeling of belonging to this church family.  One of my favorite things is the very traditional worship service; especially the music, the wonderful choir and the familiar for the most part) hymns. My age no doubt has much to do with this.  The one thing that keeps bringing me back has to be the sermons.  I have learned so much and feel I have so much more to learn.

 21. The music!! I like the organ and the choir. I don't attend in the summer because the music goes to pot. The choir deserves a vacation, but someone should be hired to fill in the gap.

WHY NOT TRY US OUT SOME SUNDAY
