Practices for living out the Christian Faith in the world today
The
last few decades of American church history have seen an explosion of interest
in and hunger for, the ancient spiritual practices of the Christian Church.
I have spent my ministry exploring some of these practices and I would
like to share those practices with you, your group, or your church.
The aim of spiritual practices is to
experience more directly in our personal lives, the presence of God. That is not as intimidating as it may sound and these
practices, among many others, enable us to grow into experiencing God in our
daily lives. Jesus used everyday
examples often in his teaching and the Church of Jesus has developed, through
the ages, a variety of ways to enable us to grow in our personal lives, and
direct our lives in service to God in Christ.

As
