Rev. Geoff Nelson
Rev. Geoff Nelson has been at the church since March 1 of 1985. He is a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary, California State University at Fullerton and Los Angeles Harbor College. He is a California native but has lived in Utah twice and considers that state his second home. His first church was in American Fork, Utah. He is married to Kim Romig, a social worker on the faculty of the Family Practice Center at nearby Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. They have a 13 year old child, Luke. Geoff has three married children from a previous marriage, Matthew and his wife Megan, of San Diego; CA, Amie and her husband, Chris Rath, have four children, Brendan, Madeline, Aidan, and Ryder; and daughter Mary and her husband Josh, of Huntington Beach, CA. Amie and her family live close by in Whittier. Geoff likes to ride his bike, fish, hike and backpack, surf and hang out around the house. He can be reached via email at ggnelson@ix.netcom.com.
