NEW MEMBER PROFILES

Jeanne Renner

           We'd like some basic information on you to introduce you to our congregation. You may be as brief or as detailed as you like. We may need to edit longer responses. Please write a paragraph answering some of the following questions:

 (1) Where were you born/raised? What about your family?

I was born and raised in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, a little town about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia. My mother and father are still alive and well, living in the home I grew up in, and have been happily married for 55 years.

My brother, who many of you have joined in prayer for, is 54, and is currently battling lymphoma brought on by his active participation in the Vietnam War. He and my sister-in-law and their two children live within 3 miles of my parents. I also have a stepbrother Pete and his wife Michelle and their kids and grandchild. I also have a son, Michael, in Pennsylvania, who is married to Jennifer and has two children, Allison and Jacob.

Here in California my family includes my life partner Janis Cavanaugh, and our two dogs, Dakota and Lily Rose, our two cats, Annie Mae and Destiny, and our fish C-9.

 (2) How long have you been in Whittier? Why did you come to Whittier?

I have been in Whittier for over eleven years. I came to Whittier to join Janis Cavanaugh in creating a new life together.

 (3) What particular hobbies/interests do you have? Please add any other information that you think would be pertinent.

I love computers. I am currently enrolled in a A+ certification class learning how to fix, repair, and upgrade computers. I also love to read, garden, hike, swim, bake, and cook.
