The Evenings of April 16 & 18, 2004

Join us for two evenings of the wonderful music of J. S. Bach. 

Friday evening,  April 16 , 2004.  Geoff and Dr. Spencer will be presenting a program on 3 pieces of church music by J. S. Bach.  We will have a potluck supper with the program.

Sunday evening, April 18, 2004,we will all go to a concert of those pieces at Royce Hall, UCLA.  Cost will be either $20 or $40, depending on the quality of seats you want at the concert.  We have six tickets at each price so we need to know which price you want.  Should we sell out all our tickets, you might still be able to get tickets directly from the L.A. Chamber Orchestra at http://www.laco.org/

The program will be three of Bach's cantatas plus a Double Concerto.

Cantata BWV 105, "Lord enter not into judgment"

Cantata BWV 140, "Sleepers Awake"

Double Concerto in C minor for violin & oboe
