II. AGREEMENT
OF PARTNERSHIP
A.
Mission Statement
1. The

enter into an agreement to prayerfully, morally and financially share facilities

partners covenant to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed,

partners further agree to enter into a more comprehensive mission analysis,
developing mission statements and strategy, with the view of expanding the
future effective and cooperative ministry in the community.
B.
Terms of Commitment

Presbytery
a. Along
with Synod, commits to prayerfully, morally and financially support

1. __________________
and _____________________ shall each appoint two representatives plus the
pastors of both churches to deal with any difficulties which may arise over the
sharing of facilities. They will be
responsible for keeping each other's governing bodies apprised of these concerns
and resolves.
2. The
pastors of the agreeing churches, as continuing members of the Presbytery, have
a mutual responsibility for developing a collegial relationship, supporting
communication and liaison activities. Therefore,
they should meet regularly to consult on matters of importance to their separate
churches, as well as on joint concerns.
3. The
pastor of ______________________ is encouraged to participate in staff meetings.
4. The
pastor of ______________________ is cordially invited to attend all meetings of
the ____________________________ Session. The
pastors from both churches are specially invited to attend meetings of each
other's governing bodies at least twice a year.
D.
Annual Review
All
partners shall annually review and be open to renegotiation of this
agreement at any time.

III. ____ AGREEMENT TO FACILITY USE
BETWEEN __________________

AND ______________________________.
A. The master calendar, as
maintained by _______________________ shall be used to guide the programmatic
activities of both congregations. On
a case by case basis, __________________________ or ___________________________
may request modifications or permission for additional use. Such requests should normally be received at least one month
prior to use and shall defer to existing scheduled activities in the event of a
conflict. Such requests shall
normally be handled by the church staff and formalized at staff meetings.
B. Items subject to
master calendar scheduling include specific audio-visual equipment and the use
of the church van. In the case of the van, ________________ and
________________________ will conform to use guidelines established by the
________________________ committee and approved by
________________________________ session, provided that

pay for the use of the van to cover gas and maintenance as paid by all groups.
IV.
SCHEDULING OF USAGE

will assume the responsibility of locking up equipment and rooms upon leaving
the buildings. ______________________ will use the facilities of
____________________________ according to the following schedule:

may be used by ________ with prior approval.

will be responsible for putting the equipment away and securing and closing the
chapel and for cleaning up of the areas used.

assigned, will be provided to be used at all times for the office of the pastor.
The upkeep of this room will be the responsibility of _______

C. The _______ is available
any time for evening meetings except on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoon and
evenings.
D. The _____________ and front
room off the _______ and rooms on the second floor of _________ are made
available for use by ______________________ Sunday school program.
______________________ will provide its own curricula and supplies.
E. The upkeep/custodial
care for the second floor of _____________, including rooms and hallway
(excluding Youth Director’s Office) is the responsibility of

F. Use of other rooms
and Sanctuary by ______________________ will be negotiated as indicated in III A
of this Mutual Partnership Agreement.
G. The kitchen, equipment,
utensils and storage space will be available for use by
__________________ at any time, provided that:
1. No
other church activities are scheduled at the same time.
2. __________________
will provide its own supplies.

will clean up after its use.
H. The ____________________
will be available for ________________________ use as requested and if no other
activities are scheduled.

and ____________________ may be used for weddings and wedding receptions.
1. Rooms
should be returned to the state necessary for the following service and/or
usage.

fee will be deposited with the ____________________________ to cover general
expenses for equipment, etc., as established by session.

may use their own wedding hostess and wedding reception hostess.
Wedding reception hostess is to be instructed in the use and handling of
reception utensils, supplies and equipment by the wedding reception hostess of

they use ______________________________ hostesses, organist or custodian, fees
will be paid by ______________________ as set by Session of
____________________________ for this use.
J. Use of Van
1. The
drivers who are approved by the Steering Committee of __________ and ________
Session will be added to the driver list for the insurance company.
This list needs to be updated at least yearly.
2. Payment
of insurance and maintenance will be negotiated
through the Common Concerns Committee.
3. The
coordination for use of the van will be subject to master calendar scheduling.
K. Termination of Mutual
Agreement
Two
months notice is necessary for the termination of this Mutual Agreement.
