Easter Mission Project 2002

Every Year for the past 14 or 15 years, our Youth Group has gone to Mexico to build houses.  For 2002 we will be working with Amor Ministries to build a house in the colonias of Tijuana.

We will be leaving Easter Sunday afternoon, March 31, and returning Wednesday afternoon, April 3.  Katie Hanson and Kim MacLean are organizing this year's trip.  Contact them to get your name on the list.

The commissioning of the group will take place in worship on Easter Sunday, both the 9:00 and the 10:15 services, so all participants must be in church that day.

We are selling stock after church on Sundays now, so come and help us!  The group goes out for breakfast often after doing the work of fundraising on Sunday mornings.  Our goal is to raise $1000 in stock.  In addition to this amount, each participant needs to contribute $30.00 towards the costs fo the trip.  Scholarships are available on a for-need basis.
